Higher Education Alliance (IALHEA)
Presents three special
events in April 2008
www.ialhea.org
The
Illinois African American and Latino Higher Education Alliance (IALHEA)
is an innovative collaborative effort between the Illinois Committee on
Black Concerns in Higher Education (ICBCHE); and the Illinois Latino
Council on Higher Education (ILACHE). We believe that African
Americans and Latinos share a common plight in the higher education
arena, so we have joined forces in the hopes of more effectively
stemming the current assault on affirmative action and other remedies
targeted at traditionally underrepresented groups. IALHEA is
sponsoring three special events that are supported by a HECA Grant from
the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE). All of the events
will
be held at the Forum, located on the campus of the University of
Illinois at Chicago, at 725 W. Roosevelt Road.
